Many opportunities are available to students who earn a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies. Many students use the Liberal Studies degree to improve their current employment standing. Graduates also find entry into careers in business, government, and social service agencies like adult and family services, criminal justice, and health and welfare. With additional coursework in a teacher credential program (not currently available within the Ukiah major), some Liberal Studies graduates become K-12 teachers. Others use their bachelor's degree as a springboard to graduate studies in a variety of fields including counseling, law, or library science, among others.
